The Clear Water Model Boat Club (CWBMC) was formed to help promote the sport of model boating in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and the surrounding areas.  In 1993 we started playing with our R/C boats on a pond by Lake Hallie, located halfway between Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire. 

In 1997 the CWMBC moved to a new pond, the Blue Beaver Pond.  This pond is located at Highway 53 North and Business 29 West.  The CWMBC has some restrictions on the use of the pond.  The club is only allowed on the pond Fridays and Saturday, from 10a.m. to dusk.

Each year the the CWBMC holds 3.5cc Wisconsin State Championships at the new pond.  In addition, starting this summer, the club will sponsor races once a month open to all boaters.  Club members, Bryon Nesvacil and Doug Twerberg will be organizing and promoting the races.  You do not have to be a member to race, but new members are welcome!
